Not giggles.

Maze has TOUCHED DOWN on Mandalore and holy SHIT do I have problems. Cut because it’s mostly rage down there.

why the fuck is this about you kal

Skirata, notably not a clone and an ex-Cuy’val Dar training sergeant who actively trained these men to be used, tells the clone.

Like, ostensibly he’s talking to Zey, but the “insult to the galaxy” was actually Maze’s decision. That Skirata is talking over right at this very second.

FUNNY. I don’t seem to remember Kal mentioning that he ever asked that child who he shot to death if he ever volunteered for his training. Or Niner’s Two-Eight. Or-

But I’m sure it’s all squarsies in Kal’s book because he sleeps in a fucking chair or whatever.

Also, he’s talking to Maze in that quote, still. Sometimes this man’s hypocrisy is fucking out of this fucking world.

The fact he even had the gall to try to guilt trip Maze.

HE, NON-CLONE AND ONCE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN THEIR ENSLAVEMENT, SAYS. AND I SAY THIS ONCE AGAIN. TO THE CLONE.

HOLY. S H I T.

You know how this scene would have worked? You know what would have made this scene actually work? You have an ACTUAL ONE OF THE CLONES - one of the VERY MANY hanging around here just twiddling their thumbs or whatever - take issue with having someone like Zey--ex-general, ex-Jedi--brought into their supposed safe space. Ordo, Fi, Cov, whoever the fuck. Pick one! If they had wanted to take Maze to task for violating a space that was intended for them, if their trauma had been stepped on here, if they had felt unsafe and betrayed by having someone they could see as a threat, an abuser, brought into their space, then THAT is a whole other ball game. THAT would have been a fucking scene. THAT might have gotten the goddamn point across KT seems like she was going for here.

I mean, hell! Kom’rk! Kom’rk’s right there, and next time we see him we have Kom’rk talking about how he emphatically doesn’t trust the Jedi! Ordo is way more ambivalent toward Jedi and even in his POV chapter following this whole ordeal isn’t all that fussed, but Kom’rk outright states that he doesn’t trust a single one of them. Even then though, KT doesn’t have him actually seem to have much of an issue with Zey, or with having Kyrimorut house Jedi, not the way she has Kal act like his traumas have been the ones stomped all over. Still, it would not have been that far of a jump. Have HIM go after Maze, if someone has to go after him at all.

Of course, though, if any of the clones had actually had serious issue with a Jedi in their space, then Kal would be in the crosshairs for agreeing to house Jedi himself, against what would then be the psychological well-being of the very people this safe house is supposedly for, and we can’t have that.

Which means! It’s the Kal Fucking Skirata show ONCE AGAIN! And whatever moral complexity KT was going for just went right out the fucking window.

What the fuck?
